Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni gets engaged to Zainab Ravdjee

Hyderabad: The Akkineni family has announced the engagement of Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, to Zainab Ravdjee, daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee.

The engagement ceremony took place in an intimate gathering with close family members on Tuesday at Nagarjuna's home.

Akhil shared their engagement photos, announcing the happy news. He wrote, "Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged (sic)."-

Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the news saying: “As a father, it brings me immense joy to see Akhil take this significant step in his life with Zainab, someone who complements him beautifully. Zainab's grace, warmth, and artistic spirit have truly made her a wonderful addition to our family. We are overjoyed and look forward to celebrating this new journey with both families.”

Zainab Ravdjee is painter known for her abstract art. She grew up in Hyderabad and has showcased her art in exhibitions like “Reflections.” The couple have been dating for a long time.

Zainab's father, Zulfi Ravdjee is a close friend of Nagarjuna. He has worked as an advisor and as the AP Government’s special representative for the Middle East and Far East countries. Zulfi Ravdjee is a ‘pioneer in the field of construction’ and has 30 years of experience in this field. His son, Zain Ravdjee, is the chairman and MD of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd.

This announcement is another happy moments for the Akkineni family, as Akhil’s brother, Naga Chaitanya, is also getting married soon. Naga Chaitanya will marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, in a grand ceremony at Annapurna Studios.
