Noted Telugu director Madan dies of brain stroke
Madan has made some feel-good and fabulous films like ‘Aa Naluguru’, ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’, ‘Pellaina Kothhallo’, ‘Pravarakhhyudu’, and others.

On Saturday evening, the family released a note stating he is doing fine but is hospitalised. But on Sunday morning, official news from the family and close friends of the director confirmed that he passed away in the early hours of Sunday due to a brain stroke.
Madan has made some feel-good and fabulous films like 'Aa Naluguru', 'Gunde Jhallumandi', 'Pellaina Kothhallo', 'Pravarakhhyudu', and others. He penned the dialogues, story and screenplay for 'Aa Naluguru' and won critical acclaim too. He later made his directorial debut with 'Pellaina Kothalo' in 2006 under his banner Aa Naluguru films. The film was written, directed and produced by Madan himself.
Madan was born and brought up in Madanapalle in Chittoor district. He graduated from SV University, Tirupati. During his college days, he wrote short stories and directed playlets. Before becoming a writer-director, Madan worked as an assistant cameraman for noted cinematographer S. Gopal Reddy. Madan's last film was Mohan Babu's 'Gayatri' in 2018.
His last rites will be performed on Sunday. He has not been making films for some time now. But with the current situation in Tollywood, the industry needs directors like him.
