Hyderabad: The release date of Prabhas' much-awaited 'Radhe Shyam' has finally been announced. The film was scheduled to release on 30 July 2021 but was postponed. So, on the same day, the filmmakers announced the new release date.
'Radhe Shyam' will now release on 14 January next year to coincide with Pongal and Makar Sankranti celebrations. Prabhas announced the dates in a post and wrote, "Can't wait for you all to watch my romantic saga, Radhe Shyam, which has a brand new release date - January 14, 2022 worldwide!"
He also shared a new poster of his character from the movie that has now gone viral for all the right reasons.
Pooja Hegde will star opposite Prabhas in 'Radhe Shyam'. The film also features Bhagyasree, Murli Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur, and Sathyan. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by UV Creations, 'Radhe Shyam' will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The Hindi version of the film will be presented by T-Series.
Prabhas will be seen playing a palmist in the film. The story is set in Italy in the backdrop of the 1980s.
Prabhas has three more pan-India projects lined up. He will be seen in 'Adipurush' directed by Om Raut, 'Salaar' to be directed by Prashanth Neel, and an untitled sci-fi thriller directed by Nag Ashwin.
