`Prince': Trailer of Sivakarthikeyan-starrer movie fails to create curiosity
Directed by Anudeep KV of Jathirathnalu fame, the film is all set to release on October 21.
By Bhavana Published on 13 Oct 2022 3:09 AM GMTSivakarthikeyan's Prince is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film will release in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Directed by Anudeep KV of Jathirathnalu fame, the film is all set to release on October 21.
A couple of days ago, the trailer of the film was released by Vijay Deverakonda. Anudeep has managed to create a buzz.
But the trailer doesn't live up to the expectation. The premise looks pretty old and boring. In short, it seems very much like old wine in a new bottle.
Sivakarthikeyan is a school teacher and his father, played by Sathyaraj, is a patriot who is against the concept of casteism. The school gets a teacher from Britain and the hero falls in love with her. The entire village is against their love. Will they succeed is something we don't know yet.
People have tried these stories earlier too. Until and unless the director tells the story differently by adding some masala to it, there seems to be nothing special about the film.
The movie will cash in on a long weekend post-Diwali on October 25. Vijay Deverakonda has launched a theatrical trailer for the movie.
Maria Ryaboshapka from Ukraine is playing the female lead in this film. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and music director S Thaman have done their job well. The production design looks top-notch.
Suniel Narang along with Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Suresh Babu is producing the movie under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions, and Shanthi Talkies. Sonali Narang presents the movie. Praveen KL is the editor and Arun Viswa is the co-producer.
