Pushpa first single: Mass introduction of Allu Arjun captures many hearts

Hyderabad: Finally, the much-awaited first song of 'Pushpa' was released on Friday and it has taken the internet by storm. Starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Fasil, Rashmika Mandanna and others in lead roles, the movie was directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers with a huge budget.
Sharing the first single online, Allu Arjun wrote, "Here it isThe first single from #Pushpa is out now! #DaakkoDaakkoMeka #OduOduAadu #OduOduAade #JokkeJokkeMeke #JaagoJaagoBakre #PushpaTheRise (sic)."
Allu Arjun and Sukumar have earlier teamed up for Arya and Arya 2. Pushpa marks their third collaboration. Being shot in Telugu, Pushpa will release in four other languages - Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The first song has also been released in all five languages. If not for the second wave of COVID-19 and the lockdown from it, Pushpa would have been released in theatres on Friday. Instead, as a consolation to the fans, the makers have released the first song.
Allu Arjun wore a raw and rustic look in this song, a first time for someone who is known for his portrayal of glamorous hero roles. Bunny plays Pushparaj, a red sandalwood smuggler from the Nallamala forests, and Fahadh will be his antagonist. Pushpa has also created a lot of excitement across south India with Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil playing the role of the antagonist. The film also marks Fahadh's debut in Telugu. Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjay, Anasuya, Sunil and other artistes are also part of this flick which is slated for release on 25 December. Pushpa being the first part, a sequel is set to release in next year's summer.
Pushpa is one of the most-awaited pan India projects and this first single has raised the expectations through the roof.
