By Bhavana Published on 19 July 2021 4:00 AM GMTRadhe Shyam is one of the most-awaited films of the year. Earlier, filmmakers had announced that the movie will be released on July 30. Given the current scenario, it is impossible to release the film on the scheduled date. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is produced by UV Creations.
The shooting of the film is yet to be completed. A shoot of another 10 days is still pending. Prabhas is said to be out of the country and the shoot will be resume once he returns.
Filmmakers, however, have started post-production. Dubbing is already in progress.
If theatres open with 100 percent occupancy, the film will hit the screens in October or November. This also depends on the Bollywood market as the film is slated to be released in multiple languages. The release date may vary if the much-anticipated 3rd wave arrives.
Meanwhile, producers of the film have already sold the digital rights of the film. While the Hindi version is said to have been sold to Netflix, the rest of the languages will be streaming on Zee 5. Sources said it has been sold for a whopping price.
An official confirmation from the makers is awaited. The film is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
Justin Prabhakaran, Mithoon, and Amit Trivedi are composing the music. Pooja Hegde, Sasha Chettri, and Bhagyasree are the three ladies playing key roles in the film. Set in the backdrop of the 1980s in Italy, the film is a love story that doesn't have any action sequences.
On the work front, Prabhas has three more pan India projects lined up. He will be seen in Adipurush, directed by `Om Raut', `Salaar' to be directed by Prashanth Neel, and an untitled sci-fi thriller directed by Nag Ashwin.
