More than a hundred Telugu films were released in 2022. Almost 75 percent of them bombed at the box office. Here are some of the biggest disasters.

Khiladi, Ramarao On Duty

This year has been the worst for Ravi Teja with both `Khiladi' and `RamaRao On Duty' ending up as disasters at the box office. Both the films haven't scored even average collections at the ticket counter.

Son Of India

Starring Mohan Babu, `Son Of India' is not only the biggest dud of the year 2022 but also made it to the all-time list of disasters with near nil collections at the box office.

Radhe Shyam

Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, this Pan-India film was released amidst a lot of expectations. Unexpectedly, the film ended up as a nightmare at the box office.

The movie isn't that bad, but the film's commercial outcome is so bad that Prabhas fans are worried about his future projects as well.

Ghani

Varun Tej's lackluster boxing drama directed by Kiran Korrapati has left a huge hole in the filmmaker's pockets. This film is a classic example of 'no substance'.

Acharya

Perhaps the most disappointing one on the list is Megastar Chiranjeevi is `Acharya'. The movie had a lot of positives from the start. The combination of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan spurred a lot of hope. However, it ended up in a disaster.

The movie lacks everything in it and the list of things that went wrong with this movie are endless. Nithin starrer added a cherry to Tollywood's flop streak.

Liger

Vijay Devarkonda's Liger was touted to be an epic commercial entertainer. People had a lot of expectations. The involvement of Puri Jagganath and Karan Johar further raised expectations. However, the result was disastrous. Liger tanked at the box office.

The Warrior

Ram Pothineni's 2022 release was a disaster at the box office. The movie was made as a bilingual film. Directed by Lingusamy, the film also marks Ram's Kollywood debut. Unfortunately, the movie proved to be a disaster.

Gopichand-starrer directed by commercial director Maruthi failed to live up to the expectations and stood as one of the top disasters of Tollywood in 2022.

The Ghost

Nagarjuna=starrer `The Ghost' had decent hopes. The Praveen Sattaru directorial failed miserably at the box office. With the best action sequences, the trailer of this film promised some good entertainment. However, it tanked at the box office.
