Rajinikanth: Thalaivar170 to be directed by Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame

Hyderabad: Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans are on cloud nine as the actor has given a nod to his next film. On the occasion of their chairman’s birthday, Lyca Productions on Thursday took to social media to announce their next film with Superstar Rajinikanth. This film will be directed by Gnanavel of ‘Jai Bhim’ fame and is slated for release in 2024.
The collaboration of Gnanavel and Rajinikanth is a combination that the actor’s fans have been waiting for.
Lyca productions and Subaskaran have earlier produced Rajinikanht’s ‘Enthiran’ and ‘Darbar’ and Thalaivar170 marks their third collaboration with the legendary actor.
Lyca Production took to Twitter to announce the film.

The film is slated for release in 2024 and Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for this film which is going to be one of the much-awaited films of the year. ‘Jai Bhim’ stole the hearts of many and left the audiences with an impact though it released directly on OTT. So, expectations for Gnanavel are high already.
An official statement about the collaboration was shared on Thursday. “Lyca group is extremely happy and honoured in associating with Thalaivar Rajinikanth once again after many successful projects. And with all your blessings & wishes, we sincerely believe that this movie would attain all pinnacles bringing joy to all the fans,” Lyca Productions said in a statement.
