By Bhavana Published on 16 Sep 2022 2:30 AM GMTHyderabad: Ram Pothineni or RAPO, the energetic star of Tollywood whose last film was Lingusamy's 'The Warrior', is reportedly working with yet another Tamil filmmaker.
As per the Kollywood film circle, the visionary director Gautham Vasudev Menon who gave many blockbusters in Tollywood is said to have narrated a romantic story to the actor. Ram, who listened to the narration, is satisfied with the script and is said to have given the nod for this film, which will go on the floors by the first half of 2023. As per the grapevine, the movie will be shot at a fast pace and will be released across theatres by next year-end.
Earlier, it was reported that the 2013 hit romantic film 'Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu' helmed by Gautham Menon was first offered to Ram and that 10 days of shooting had been completed. Reportedly, Ram was replaced in the film by Nani as the director thought Nani would be perfect for the role rather than RAPO. Since then, speculations are rife that Gautham is set to do a film with Ram.
Also, as per trusted sources, the relationship between Gautham Vasudev and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore (Ram's uncle) has been good for a long time and that is the reason Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is going to present Gautham and Simbu's current project in Telugu. Continuing the relationship, Gautham is also said to be ready with a great script to give a super-hit to Ram.
Meanwhile, Ram is busy shooting for 'Akhanda' with director Boyapati Sreenu.
