Hyderabad: The summer is here and we have a bunch of movies getting released in May.

Recently Sai Dharam Tej's 'Virupaksha' became a blockbuster. A lot of theatrical releases are scheduled for May which might also strike big at the box office. Let's take a look at the notable Tollywood releases in May.

1. Ramabaanam:

The movie marks the third collaboration of macho star Gopichand and director Sriwass after 'Lakshyam' and 'Loukyam'. Touted to be a commercial flick, the movie is gearing up for release on May 5.

2. Ugram:

Starring Allari Naresh in yet another powerful serious social drama, Vijay Kanakamedala who previously directed Naresh's superhit film 'Naandi' is helming this project. The movie is hitting the theatres on May 5.

3. Guardians of the Galaxy V3:

The much-awaited American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy is coming up with the third and final movie of the series. It is releasing on May 5.

4. Custody:

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, starring Naga Chaitanya custody is all set to hit the big screens on May 12.

5. Music School:

Starring Shriya Saran, Ozu Barua, Prakash Raj, and Sharman Joshi, this musical film directed by Papa Rao Biyyala is releasing on May 12.

6. Bhuvana Vijayam:

Star comedians Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Raj Tirandasu, and Harsha Chemudu joined hands for a hilarious ride, 'Bhuvana Vijayam' under the direction of Yalamanda Charan, and the movie is releasing on May 12.

7. Farhana:

Starring Aishwarya Rajesh, and K Selvaraghavan, and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, 'Farhana' is releasing on May 12.

8. Anni Manchi Sakunamule:

Young hero Santosh Shoban is romancing Malavika Nair under the direction of BV Nandini Reddy in his upcoming romantic entertainer, 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule' which is releasing on May 18.

9. Samajavaragama:

Talented actor Sree Vishnu is all set to try his luck with his upcoming film 'Samajavaragamana' featuring Reba Monica as the female lead. The movie is directed by Ram Abbaraju. The movie is releasing on May 18.

10. Bichagadu 2:

Starting Vijay Antony, the much-awaited sequel of the 2016 released super hit film 'Bichagadu' titled 'Bichagadu 2' is all set to hit the screens on May 19.

11. Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty:

It has been a long time since star beauty Anushka appeared on the silver screen. The actress is all set to romance Naveen Polishetty in the upcoming outing Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty. The movie is releasing on May 26.

Starring Siddharth and Yogi Babu, 'Takkar' is a Tamil dubbed Telugu film directed by Karthik G Krish. It is releasing on May 26.

13. Men Too:

Starting Naresh Agastya, Harsha, Brahmaji, Priyanka, and Riya Suman, 'Men Too' directed by Srikanth G Reddy. It is releasing on May 26.
