Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it is creating substantial excitement with its intense trailer and soulful music. However, the film's extensive runtime has become a topic of discussion. Clocking at 3 hours and 21 minutes in theaters, `Animalā has generated buzz for its cinematic journey filled with action, emotion, and raw drama.
Addressing the concerns surrounding the movie's length, Ranbir Kapoor reassured audiences, stating, "The story of Animal requires this amount of time to reach the audience. We saw the first cut which was 3.49 hours, and we were entertained. Don't be panicked by the length & just come experience cinema at its best."
Originally, the team planned to release the longer version in theaters with two interval breaks, deeming it necessary for the engaging narrative. However, considering distributor concerns, the makers edited a few scenes, resulting in the final theatrical runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes.
For the OTT version, it's expected to retain the extended runtime, catering to the eagerness of fans and the audience who want to experience the full narrative. Starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and others, "Animal" has not only stirred excitement in Hindi cinema but has also created massive anticipation in Telugu and Tamil markets, with blockbuster openings anticipated.
