'Tiger Nageswara Rao' is a period film set in the 1970's and based on the life of a notorious thief from south India's Stuartpuram. In short, it is a biopic. There are quite a lot of stories about him on the Internet as well. This project has been on the cards for a long time now and soon, the film will go on the floors.
Ravi Teja will undergo a complete makeover to play the role. His body language, diction, and get up will undergo major transformation and the actor will be seen in a new look.
Director Vamsee and his team have been working on the script and other pre-production works for the last three years. The filmmakers have decided to make it a pan-India film and release it in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The life story of 'Tiger' Nageswara Rao is perfect cinema material and Ravi Teja, who best suits such mass, authoritative roles, is obviously the right choice. It indeed is an apt title for the film on the most wanted thief of south India.
The filmmakers have even released the poster of the film. "Feel the silence before the hunt," reads the poster and looks highly intriguing.
