RRR wins Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards 2023

Hyderabad: RRR has been winning various awards from across the globe, and today, the team added another feather to their cap. After winning the Critics' Choice and Golden Globes, filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR has won big at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards 2023.

RRR beats Top Gun: Maverick

RRR bagged the Best International Film honor at the award ceremony that was held in the US on Saturday. The film bagged awards in Best Original Song, Best Stunts, and Best Action Film. To our surprise, RRR beats Tom Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick.

I did not expect to come up...says Charan

Rajamouli and Charan went on to the stage to receive the award, and Charan seemed shocked. Charan greeted the attendees with joined hands. "I didn't expect to come up on stage. My director just told me to accompany him. Thank you so much for giving us all this love. It's a great response, so we will come back with better films and entertain you all. Thank you so much," he said.

The noted director dedicated the win to fellow Indian filmmakers, adding, "It is for all of us to believe we can make international films. Thank you to HCA for that. It means a lot. Thank you very much again. Jai Hind."

Charan wins hearts

Ram Charan has been taking part in the film's promotions since the beginning and even in international tours as well. He's been winning the spotlight everywhere. Jr NTR couldn't accompany them as his cousin Tarakaratna passed away after battling for 23 days in the hospital.
