`RRR' sets box office on fire; inches closer to Rs 1000 crore milestone

RRR' is the most-talked-about film on social media. Starring Ram Charan Tej, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, and Olivia Morris in lead roles, this film is breaking all records at the box office.

The film collected a whopping Rs 73.92 crore on its opening day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie has now managed to earn Rs 400 crore gross (Rs 213.2 crore share) in the Telugu states so far. It has broken the record of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. In Mumbai, Bangalore, and other metropolitan cities too, the film registered a massive opening. On day 9, the film has finally crossed the 800 crore mark worldwide and has created history at the box office. With India box office collections at Rs. 625 crores, the overseas business is estimated to be around Rs. 175 crore. The film is dominating at the domestic box office and is set to cross Rs. 1000 crore in the next couple of days.

Every time the film's release got delayed, Producer DVV Danayya spent crores on the promotions. Rajamouli, Tarak, and Charan haven't left any stone unturned in promoting the film with so much patience. Credit goes to Rajamouli, the actors, who worked hard for five long years, and the producer who believed in them. The crew deserves applause for giving their best shot.
