Originally set for September 28 release, the makers have issued an official statement apologizing for the delay. They have assured fans that a new release date will be announced soon. This change is due to unforeseen circumstances and is aimed at ensuring an exceptional cinematic experience for the audience.
In their statement posted on Twitter, the makers expressed their gratitude for the unwavering support from fans and explained that the postponement is necessary to complete the final touches on the film. They are committed to delivering a high-quality product and are currently working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. While the new release date has not been confirmed yet, the film is likely to target festival seasons like Diwali or Sankranti for its release, with November, December, or January being potential options.
The decision to delay the release was primarily driven by pending post-production work. Reportedly, the director was unsatisfied with the quality of the CGI work and chose to prioritize the film's overall quality. As a result of this change, the September 28 slot has been taken over by the Ram Pothineni starrer "Skanda," directed by Boyapati Srinu.
"Salaar" features Prabhas in the titular role, supported by a talented ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, with music composed by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. Fans eagerly await the announcement of the new release date for this highly anticipated movie.
