Salaar: Prabhas, Shruti Haasan starrer to release in September 2023

Hyderabad: 'Salaar', the much-awaited film from Prabhas, gets a release date. On the occasion of Independence Day, the makers announced that the multilingual film will hit the screens on 28 September 2023.
Directed by Prashant Neel, the pan-India film has Shruthi Haasan as the leading lady and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles besides many other actors. This high-voltage action film has been the talk of the town since the first look of the film was launched. Prabhas also took to social media to share the release date. The dark and gritty poster shows Prabhas standing with two swords in his hands. Bodies can be seen in the dark background.
The movie will also star Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao. The music will be composed by Ravi Basrur.
'Salaar' was set to hit the theatres on 14 April this year. However, its release was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Prabhas is also awaiting the release of 'Adipurush' which will clash with Thalapathy Vijay and Chiranjeevi's upcoming films in the theatres.
