Salaar to Dhoomam: Hombale Films to invest Rs 3000 Cr in 5 years

2023 is going to be a big year for Indian cinema, especially for the south film industry. 2022 was the year of the Kannada film industry. Its two movies, KGF 2 and Kantara produced by Hombale Films, redefined Indian cinema.

Hombale Films has now cemented its position as one of the most successful film production houses. The makers took to their social media accounts to thank the audience for showing their constant love and support while wishing everyone a happy new year.

Currently, Hombale has Salaar with Prabhas in the making, and Dhoomam with Fahadh Faasil. Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to act and direct in Tyson and has a cameo in Salaar as well. In Kannada, the banner will soon launch Raghavendra Rajkumar's younger son, Yuva Rajkumar.

It is also backing Rakshit Shetty's next directorial Richard Anthony and Sriimurali's Bagheera. Also, in the works is a film with Soorarai Pottru maker Sudha Kongara. Kantara maker Rishab Shetty's next will also be for the banner.

Taking to social media, Hombale Films founder Vijay Kiragandur shared a thankful note to the masses with lots of wishes for the coming year. He jotted down the caption writing -

Moreover, Hombale films is also eyeing to bring more compelling content to the audience in the coming year. They are planning to invest a massive amount of 3000 Cr. in the coming 5 years for sustainable growth in the entertainment sector. Hombale Films is all set to bring yet another blockbuster in 2023 with Salaar.
