Hyderabad: Every year, during the festival of Bathukamma, many singers come up with cover songs that take the internet by storm. In recent times, many filmmakers have also started to feature Bathukamma songs as part of their films. On Friday, a Bathukamma song was released and for a change, this one is from Bollywood.

Featuring Salman Khan, Pooja Hedge, and Venkatesh in the lead roles, the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is being made on a large scale. On Friday, the makers released the Bathukamma song which was an instant chartbuster.

Salman Khan shared the song on Twitter and the song took the internet by storm.

Immediately, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, BRS MLC and founder of Telangana Jagruthi, retweeted the song and wrote, “#Bathukamma craze is now pan-India.”

With the launch of “Bathukamma,” Salman Khan and the team of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ have given a beautiful gift to Telugu culture enthusiasts.

The music for “Bathukamma” is composed by Ravi Basrur and he has delivered a delightful rendition of a mix of mellow and soothing tunes from the southern part of the country that take the listeners on a surreal musical journey.

Santhosh Venky, Airaa Udupi, Harini Ivaturi, Suchetha Basrur, and Vijayalaxmi Mettinahole have given their voices to the song. The lyrics are by Shabbir Ahmed, Ravi Basrur, Kinnal Raj, and Harini Ivaturi.

Undoubtedly, the culture of Telangana is going places and a Bollywood film with a Bathukamma song proves that Telangana art, culture, tradition, and rituals are something that holds a beautiful place in the history of the country and Indian cinema as well.
