Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Godfather has a new member in the cast and it is none other than Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Salman is going to play a vital role in this film which is a Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer. It is confirmed that it is going to be a cameo or something similar to Prithviraj Sukumaran's role in the original flick.

Salman coming on board for this film is definitely a big thing and it happened with the bonding and friendship that he and Chiranjeevi share. Aren't the expectations big already? The team welcomed Salman on board and the fans are excited about this combination.

Godfather is Chiranjeevi's 153rd film Godfather being directed by Mohan Raja and produced grandly by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films is currently being filmed in Mumbai.

Chiranjeevi will be seen in a powerful role in the movie tipped to be a high intense political action drama. Nayanthara is playing a significant role in the movie. Top-notch technical team is handling different crafts of the movie. Master cinematographer Nirav Shah handles the camera, while the in-form music director SS Thaman renders soundtracks. Suresh Selvarajan - the art director for many Bollywood Blockbusters - takes care of the artwork of this film. The film is produced jointly by RB Choudary and NV Prasad, while Konidela Surekha is presenting it.
