Hyderabad: Prime Video, India’s cherished entertainment platform, has announced the global streaming premiere of the recent blockbuster Jailer on September 7. Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer stars the iconic Rajinikanth in the lead role, alongside a remarkable ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Master Ritvik. The film also features special appearances by the esteemed Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff.
This action-packed entertainer, with its compelling storyline, distinctive humour, stylish action sequences, and stellar performances, has not only achieved remarkable success at the box office but has also won the hearts of both audiences and critics.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, Jailer boasts the creative prowess of writer and director Nelson Dilipkumar and the musical brilliance of Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be available for streaming with Prime membership in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The plot of Jailer revolves around a retired jailer named Tiger Muthuvel Pandiyan, who embarks on a relentless quest to apprehend his son’s murderers. As he delves into an intricate crime world, Muthuvel’s determination faces numerous challenges, leading him through a complex and familiar path. The film explores whether he can overcome grief and emerge triumphant in his pursuit of justice.
