Now, SRK is teaming up with Siddharth Anand and Yash Raj Films for a spy thriller titled 'Pathan' and this will be his official comeback venture. It will be followed by filmmaker Atlee Kumar's Bollywood directorial debut. This one is being pegged as a commercial flick that will see King Khan in a double role. Atlee is known for popular Tamil films like 'Bigil', 'Their', 'Mersal', and 'Raja Rani'.

Meanwhile, it is being said that Rajkumar and Shah Rukh's film is based on the 'donkey flight' incident. Donkey flight is an illegal backdoor route that emerged as a popular escape path for Indians hoping to immigrate to the US and Canada.
The film reportedly is about a Punjabi guy and his arduous immigration journey to Canada. The filmmakers are said to be focusing on how travel agencies lay traps to lure young customers who are looking for a better life in a foreign country.
The name donkey flight has come from a Punjabi idiom about hopping from one place to another. It describes the process that most would-be immigrants follow. Here, they apply for a tourist visa for a European Union Schengen country. This visa allows them to roam freely in Europe's border-free zone, intending to leapfrog over into the UK and Canada.
The project is still in the pre-production stage and will take over a year to go on the floors.
