`Shyam Singha Roy': Nani-starrer movie sent for Oscar nominations

Filmmakers have submitted Nani-starrer `Shyam Singh Roy' for Oscar nominations. in three categories.

The moviemakers are vying for nominations in periodic film, background score, and classical cultural dance Indie category.

This followed the reports that Ram Charan Tej and Jr NTR starter RRR have been nominated for the Oscars

Quite a good number of films have come from Tollywood last year. One of the most-talked about films was RRR. It was directed by Rajamouli and starred Ram Charan Tej and Jr NTR in lead roles. This film was released in March 2022,

Nani's `Shyam Singha Roy' also received rave reviews. That is why it has been sent for Oscar nominations in three categories- periodic film, background score, and classical cultural dance Indie film. Mickey J Meyer provided the songs and background score for the movie.

Nani and Sai Pallavi were spellbound with their exceptional show in the flashback episodes.

Shyam Singha Roy became a blockbuster despite COVID – 19 pandemic. Director Rahul helmed the project, while Venkat Boyanapalli produced it prestigiously on a high budget under Niharika Entertainment.

Shyam Singha Roy (SSR) was later premiered on Netflix. It received the highest rating and SSR was a top trend for 10 weeks.
