`Sir': Aha bags digital rights of Dhanush's bilingual movie

Actor Dhanush's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film is creating a decent buzz after its teaser was released.

Directed by Venky Atluri, it is titled `Vaathi in Tamil and Sir in Telugu. Samyuktha Menon plays the leading lady in the movie.

The film is produced under the Sithara Entertainments banner, by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The teaser has already set the right tone for the film and promises a socially oriented film that will be hard-hitting and light on society. From the teaser released a few days back, it is clear that the film deals with how education has been made into a business. All in all, the teaser got elements of mass and class perfectly imbibed into it.

Now the latest buzz about the movie is that even before the film's release, the movie's OTT rights are sold for a whopping amount. If the reports are something to go by, then it is said that Vaathi post-theatrical OTT rights have been bagged by Aha Tamil and Aha Telugu platforms.

While GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the flick, it is expected to release in November or December of this year. More details about the much-anticipated Telugu-Tamil bilingual will be announced shortly. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and Narra Srinivas will be seen in supporting roles in the film.

The film will hit the screens on December 2.
