Sita Ramam
This is one of the much-awaited films from the Telugu film industry. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, 'Sita Ramam' is directed by Hanu Ragahvapudi and produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. The lead cast has been promoting the film and they can't wait for the audiences to watch it. 'Baahubali' star Prabhas attended the pre-release event and wished the team luck. Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Bhumika Chawla and many others are part of this film which will hit the screens on 5 August.
Bimbisara
Starring Kalyan Ram, Katherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon, 'Bimbisara' is directed by Vasishta. The period film is based on the life of a king of the same name. It will release in theatres on 5 August. Jr. NTR is promoting the film extensively as his brother Kalyan Ram will be seen on the big screen after a gap of four years. Expectations are already high for this film.
Karthikeya 2
This is the sequel to 'Kartikeya' which released in 2014. After such a long gap, the second part is here and stars Nikhil and Anupama Parameswaran. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal. 'Karthikeya 2' is a mystery thriller that has Anupam Kher in a key role. The film was announced in 2017 but is finally going to release on 13 August. This film is high in visual effects and seems to be living up to the expectations of the audiences already.
Macherla Niyojikavargam
'Macherla Niyojikavargam' is a pakka mass entertainer with Nithiin and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. Nithiin will be seen playing an election officer. This film is based on political issues (fictional) that happen in Macherla. Directed by Rajasekhar Reddy, this flick has Samuthirakhani playing the lead antagonist. The 'Ishq' actor underwent a huge transformation for the film and his new avatar has impressed the audiences.
Liger
The Vijay Deverakonda starrer has already created a lot of hype. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film stars Ananya Panday. Vijay plays a youngster from the slums of Mumbai. He is a boxer and wants to win world championship in boxing. But the path to the ring is not so easy and this stammering Mumbaikar has a lot to deal with. Ramya Krishna plays Vijay's mother and Ronit Roy plays his coach. International boxing champion Mike Tyson will be seen in a pivotal role.
