Sivakarthikeyan’s Mahaveerudu to hit the screens on 11 August

Hyderabad: Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Prince,’ which released last year, was a hit at the Tamil box office but a disaster at the Telugu one. After a long time, the actor is back with another entertainer which will surely live up to the expectations of his fans and audiences.
His next is an intense action entertainer titled ‘Mahaveerudu’ directed by Madonne Ashwin of ‘Mandela’ fame. Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies is producing the film. Right from the day of the announcement, this film has raised the expectations of fans as it has been some time since they saw Sivakarthikeyan in an action-packed role.
The makers earlier released a small glimpse that presented Sivakarthikeyan in an action-packed avatar. The movie has music by Bharath Sankar and the first single also got a superb response.
Meanwhile, the film’s release date has been locked. ‘Mahaveerudu’ is all set to grace cinemas worldwide on 11 August. The movie will enjoy a long weekend with the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday. Sivakarthikeyan looks ferocious with a weapon in his hand in the release date poster.
Vidhu Ayyanna is handling the camera department, while Philomin Raj is the editor. The movie also features a stellar cast, including Yogi Babu, Sunil, Mysskin, Goundamani, and Saritha.
In Tamil the film is titled ‘Maaveeran’ and is being dubbed in Telugu. Veteran actress Saritha is making a comeback with this movie.
