Superstars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan to act together after 32 years

Hyderabad: Superstars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have joined hands once again after 32 years and we all are super excited about it.

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy with his upcoming movie Jailer, under the direction of Nelson Dilip Kumar. Tamannaah is playing the female lead in this action-comedy entertainer, which is all set to hit the theatres in August this year.

After this project, Rajinikanth will focus on his next which is tentatively titled #Thalaivar170. TJ Gnanavel is wielding the megaphone for this project. According to the latest reports, the movie unit has recently approached Kollywood star actor Chiyaan Vikram for the main role in the movie.

But, as the Ponniyin Selvan actor has politely rejected the offer, the makers have now roped in none other than Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan for this role.

After sharing the screen space in movies such as Andhaa Kaanoon, Geraftaar and Hum, Superstar Rajinikanth and Big B Amitabh Bachchan will share screen space after 32 years! The fans are super excited to see their combo after three decades. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this project and Anirudh Ravichander is composing tunes for the film. The shooting of the film will start by July end.

Rajinikanth also has Lal Salaam in his kitty, being directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and shooting is currently happening in and around Chennai and Pondicherry.
