Hyderabad: 'Dooradarshana,' a Kannada film set in the 80s and directed by Sukesh Shetty, is definitely a nostalgic one. That can be said after seeing the teaser that was launched on Saturday.

The title of the film itself is catchy in the era of flat screens. The songs have already made way to the hearts of the people and it's now the turn of the teaser.

On Saturday, the makers tweeted the teaser and wrote, "The Promising teaser from @AmbarPruthvi & #SukeshShetty's #Dooradarshana film is streaming now. youtu.be/HjVsRkWvmYk #VeenaSundar #HariniSrikanth #UgrammManju #RajeshBhat (sic)."

Set in the 80s, the film is set in a village. From the teaser, it looks like it is a story of friends-turned-foes. Pruthvi Ambar and Ugramm Manju seem to be those friends. "Dooradarshana is a film which talks about what happened after one television took a grand entry into a village household," said Sukesh Shetty.

Aayana plays the female lead. Sunder Veena, Harini, Deepak Rai Panaje, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Huli Karthik, Suraj Mangalore, and Surya Kundapura are playing pivotal roles in the film. The post-production of the film is on and the release dates will be announced soon.

Rajesh Bhat, under the banner of VS Media, has produced the film. Vasuki Vaibhav has scored the music, Arun Suresh is the cinematographer, and Pradeep R. Rao is the editor.
