Tees Maar Khan movie review: Aadi Sai Kumar nails his performance, chooses right character

Hyderabad: After a long wait, actor Aadi Sai Kumar got a much-needed break with 'Tees Maar Khan' which released on 19 August. Helmed by Kalyanji Gogana, 'Tees Maar Khan' stars Aadi Sai Kumar and Payal Rajput in the lead roles while Sunil, Poorna, Kabir Singh, and Anoop Singh Thakur play crucial roles. Here is our review.

Story:

Tees Maar Khan (Aadi Sai Kumar), a college student, dreams of joining the police force and his hard work pays off when he joins the force. Soon, he starts facing troubles from an influential person who collaborates with a mafia don. The film takes a dramatic turn when Tees Maar Khan's sister and brother-in-law are murdered. Does he manage to find the culprit? What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Aadi has gone a great job. His performance has matured very much and he chose a script that fits him very well. There are many layers in his character and he has done them all justice. Aadi has succeeded in impressing the audience.

The beach song is one of the main attractions of the film and so are the action blocks. The producer has left no stone unturned on the production values and it shows. The film is filled with entertainment, romance, comedy, love, and emotions. A little bit of humour here and there seems fine too.

Payal Rajput doesn't have any scope for performance but she is alright. The relationship between the brother and sister is shown in a beautiful way. Their bond is the driving force of the film.

The director has done a good job with the narration and screenplay. At the same time, he could have done better by reworking the script a little. The story is routine in some parts and entertaining in a few. There are a few boring scenes here and there but the film manages to entertain till the last. There's definitely lag in different parts but in the end, 'Tees Maar Khan' is a commercial package with a routine premise and slow narration with good performances.
