Hyderabad: Senior telugu choreographer Rakesh Master, who's popular for choreographing many songs in Telugu film industry passed away today due to illness. He was aged 53.

As per the latest reports, Rakesh Master had been shooting in Visakhapatnam for a film a few days ago and upon returning to Hyderabad, he fell ill. After his condition worsened on Sunday morning , his family members rushed him to Gandhi Hospital immediately for treatment.

According to Gandhi hospital Superintendent Raja Rao, Rakesh Master who is a diabetic patient, faced multi-organ failure due to severe metabolic acidosis. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, his condition worsened, leading to his unfortunate passing at 5 am on Sunday.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Rakesh Master began his career by participating in popular dance reality shows such as 'Aata' and 'Dhee.' Known for his unique style of dancing, his participation in famous reality shows like Dhee further propelled his popularity.

He choreographed for many famous films, including Shor, Akka Thangi and Hum Kahan Ja Rahein Hai, Manasichanu, Devadasu, Chirunavutho, and Budget Padmanabhan. He choreographed more than 1500 songs and well-known actors such as Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna.

Not just choreography, but Rakesh Master became popular during COVID days for his interviews on Youtube. Being a straightforward person, many of his videos went viral on the internet.
