The much-awaited, big announcement is finally here! Director Vamsi Paidipally, finally, has announced his collaboration with actor Thalapathy Vijay. The National Award-winning director took to his social media profile to announce the big news and wrote, "#Thalapathy66... Sharing with you all an exciting update about my next film with The #Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir, Produced by DilRaju Garu & #Shirish Garu under my home banner @SVC_official." (sic)
This project has been making headlines for some time now but fans were waiting for an official confirmation of the film. Tentatively titled #Thalapathy66, the film will mark Thalapathy's acting debut in the Telugu film industry and is expected to be breaking many box office records.
Sri Venkateswara Creations official handle also took to their official handle to announce the big news and wrote, "The news we have been waiting to make official !!! A very proud moment for us. Happy to share that we will be producing the prestigious #Thalapathy66 with Thalapathy @ActorVijay sir and @directorvamshi." (sic)
Vamsi, for the very first time, is collaborating with Thalapathy Vijay for this bilingual project, which will also mark the first Tamil production venture of SVC. The film is expected to go on floors once Thalapathy Vijay wraps up the shooting of Beast. Soon, it is expected that the makers will announce the rest of the cast and crew of Thalapathy 66. Beast is directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar and has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.
Vijay has a good market in the Telugu industry as well and huge fans as well. This film will open the doors for him to make many more films in Telugu.
