'The Great Indian Family': Meet Vicky Kaushal aka Bhajan Kumar, a singing sensation

Hyderabad: Yash Raj Films has introduced Vicky Kaushal as the singing sensation Bhajan Kumar in its upcoming movie `The Great Indian Family’.

They disclosed that Bhajan Kumar is none other than Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal. In the film, Vicky takes on the role of a local singing star named Bhajan Kumar. YRF also premiered the film's first song, Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja, marking Vicky's grand entrance.

In Vicky Kaushal's own words, "I portray the character of Bhajan Kumar, a singing star, in our quirky family entertainer, 'The Great Indian Family.' We decided to have some fun before revealing my role in the film. As an actor, bringing smiles to people's faces is my joy, and I hope I succeed. Now, the secret is out! I hope audiences embrace my new avatar in 'TGIF.' I'm excited to see how Bhajan Kumar resonates with viewers. I've put my heart into bringing him to life on the big screen."

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, TGIF marks the first collaboration between YRF and Vicky Kaushal. The song "Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja" has been composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film is set for a worldwide release on September 22nd.
