Save the dates! These films are all set to stream on OTTs this month

Hyderabad: The theatres have opened and not many filmmakers are keen on releasing the films in the OTTs sans theatrical release. While there are a lot of reasons for that, all we can do is just mark the dates, watch the films and just enjoy ourselves. Here are the films set to stream on OTTs this month.

Udanpirappe: Starring Jyothika, Samuthirakhani, and Sasikumar in lead roles, Udanpirappe is a Tamil film that is dubbed and being released in Telugu as well. Produced by Jyothika and Surya under their home banner 2D Entertainments. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on October 14. The film is all about the relationship and bonding between a brother and sister, and how a lot of things can affect it once the sister gets married. Samuthirakhani plays Jyothika's husband and Sasikumar plays her brother in this film. The film is directed by Saravannan.

Sanak: Sanak, starring Vidyut Jamwal in the lead role is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar on October 15. Sanak is about Vivan a man who was struggling to keep her partner Vanshika alive after she is diagnosed with heart disease. While both of them are waiting to get back to their happy lives after she is operated on, things get messed up when the hospital is attacked by terrorists. When the staff and patients, including Vanshika, are taken hostages, Vivan, an MMA trainer, turns into a one-man army to take down the entire gang lead whose leader is versatile actor Chandan Roy Sanyal.

Rashmi Rocket: This Taapsee Pannu and Piyush starrer is all set to stream on Zee5 from October 15. Directed by Akarsh Khurrana, the film is a sports film that has a great courtroom drama and a mature romance. Rashmi Rocket revolves around a village girl who aspires to represent India at the world championship. The sprinter becomes an inspiration back home, but she soon realises the exploitation female athletes face in the name of gender testing under the age-old system. How she fights against the injustice that happens to her forms the crux of the story.

Oh Mana Penne: This Tamil film is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster hit Pellichoopulu. This remake has Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles. This film also is skipping theatrical release and is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 22 directly. There are a lot of expectations on this film due to its promising actors.

Hum Do Hamare Do: This Hindi film starring Raj Kummar Rao and Kriti Sanon will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 29. The Abhishek Jain directorial is about a guy who wants doesn't have a family but needs a family to get married. The love of his life wants to marry a guy who has a cute family and now it is going to be a challenge for him to get one. But how he manages to do it forms the crux of the story. Dinesh Vijan presents, Hum Do Humare Do, starring Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Aparshakti Khurana, directed by Abhishek Jain, produced by Dinesh Vijan, a Maddock Original film.
