Tiger Nageswara Rao: Ravi Teja plays reel-life character of real-life robber

Hyderabad: Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is currently in a phase where he is doing four films a year. However, he scores only one hit.

After Dhamaka became a blockbuster and collected more than Rs 100 crore at the box office, his Ravanasura disappeared from the theaters right on the second day after its release. This is something that has been repeatedly happening with Ravi Teja for the last few years.

Yet again, the actor is back with another film `Tiger Nageswara Rao’. This film is based on the life of a most-wanted criminal and real-life robber of Stuartpuram, Andhra Pradesh. This happened back in the 1970s and he was noted for his indigenous ways of evading the police and the prison.

The first look of Ravi Teja as Tiger Nageswara Rao was unveiled by the makers of the film today. Directed by Vamsee and produced grandly by Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, the promotions of the movie started in a first-of-its-kind manner. The poster was launched on the iconic Havelock Bridge (Godavari) in Rajahmundry.

Ravi Teja looks like a ferocious tiger in the first-look poster. He has got rugged get-up with a thick beard. It’s scary to stare into his eyes, though it’s just a poster. He can be seen behind bars. The concept poster is meant to introduce the world of Tiger Nageswara Rao.

It is articulated strikingly with voiceovers of five different superstars in five different languages. While Venkatesh gave voiceover for the Telugu version, John Abraham, Shiva Rajkumar, Karthi, and Dulquer Salmaan introduced the world of Tiger Nageswara Rao in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages respectively.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is being released worldwide on October 2.
