Hyderabad: Police have registered a case against noted Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh for alleged attempted property encroachment and abuse.
The complaint was lodged by a local resident with Film Nagar Police Station. He alleged that the producer and his associates tried to occupy his property and damage his belongings.
Resident alleges house break-in and damage
As per the complaint filed by Shiva Prasad, a resident of Road No. 7, Film Nagar, he had locked his house and gone to stay with relatives for some time.
Upon his return a few days ago, he reportedly found the lock broken, walls damaged, and several household items disturbed, indicating a possible attempt to encroach on the property.
Producer and aides named in complaint
Shiva Prasad alleged that producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his associates were behind the break-in and the damage caused to the property.
He further claimed that after learning about the incident, he sent his staff to question Suresh regarding the issue. However, Suresh allegedly abused and attempted to assault them, leading to further tension between both parties.
Police register case, probe underway
Following the complaint, Film Nagar Police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Officials said statements from both sides are being recorded and that further verification of the property records and damage claims will be conducted. Appropriate legal action will follow based on the findings of the investigation, the police added.
