This film is a new age, breezy love story and the fresh faces of Panja Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty makes it more interesting. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist in the film. While there cannot be a love story without complications, this love story has a complication that no one can guess. What happens after that is what makes 'Uppena' a pure love story. Director Buchhi Babu Sana tells us that caste, creed, financial status, and religion do not matter to two people who love each other. Music is the soul of the film and the visuals are amazing. 'Uppena' is streaming on Netflix and you won't regret watching it.

3. Sreekaram

This one is all about organic and community farming. It's about a software employee who quits his job to save his parents and the villagers from debts. This one a laugh riot and doesn't need any introduction. Naveen Polishetty, Rahul Ramakrishna, Priyadarshi and Faria Abdullah have done an extraordinary job. Pawan Kalyan was back after a gap of three years and expectations were immense. 'Vakeel Saab' was the official Telugu remake of the Hindi film 'Pink'. Besides Pawan Kalyan, the film stars Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla. Initially, the film drew huge flak as the makers were promoting only Pawan Kalyan and not the actresses though the film is about women. But when the film was released, it received a lot of praise because of the courtroom drama. It is an undeniable fact that Pawan Kalyan was great as Vakeel Saab. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

6. Naandhi

Starring Allari Naresh and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles, this flick is a crime thriller. Venkatesh Daggubati and Priyamani's Narappa received as much praise as the original film 'Asuran'. Venkatesh's performance is top-notch. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film is raw, rustic, and real. Made against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, 'Narappa' is all about revenge due to cast and creed differences between communities in a village and how Narappa, who loses his elder son, takes revenge against the rivals. The dialect, costumes, and locations make this film a special one. Give it a try. Watch it on Amazon Prime Video.

9. Sri Devi Soda Center

Directed by Karuna Kumar, 'Sri Devi Soda Center' is also a village drama that will entertain you with every scene. It talks about the differences created between people of a village because of their caste and their status. But this one is a love story between two people from different castes and how society can influence them to take decisions that land them in trouble. Sudheer Babu plays the lead role. The beautiful boat riding competitions in the Godavari district and the picturesque locations make this film special. This film is streaming on Zee5.

10. Pushpa

The film drew flak for the romance between the lead couple. However, those scenes were deleted. The performances by Allu Arjun, Suneil, Fahadh Fasil, and Ajay Ghosh are worth mentioning. Thanks to Sukumar, this film brought the Chittoor dialect and the red sandalwood smuggling into the light. Story-wise, there is nothing great but the filmmaking and the efforts put in by the art department to bring the story alive make it worth a watch.
