Toofan: Toofan, starring Farhan Akthar and Mrunal Thakur is one of the highly anticipated sports dramas of Bollywood. The film is skipping its theatrical release and is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 16. Amazon Prime Video has made the news official and once again, the platform for this sports drama is all set. The film was in trouble when the release for the first time was announced and netizens started demanding its ban. The reason behind the backlash is Farhan's stance on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The first-look poster of the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial took the internet by storm and triggered an uproar on social media.
Haseen Dilruba: This Taapsee Pannu's starrer too will skip a theatrical release. Directed by Vinil Mathew and penned by writer Kanika Dhillon, Haseen Dillruba has Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane besides Taapsee in the lead. Haseen Dillruba will be streaming on Netflix from July 2nd and an official confirmation from the OTT giant is awaited. The trailer of the film was released recently on social media and it has gone viral for all the right reasons.
