Trisha, Sanjay Dutt and other stellar actors come on board for Thalapathy 67

Hyderabad: Thalapathy 67 has gone into production in Kashmir for the second schedule on February 1st. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has Thalapathy Vijay playing the lead role.

The film will be huge in terms of casting, technical standards, and production values. Producer SS Lalit Kumar and co-producer Jagadish Palanisamy are making the movie on a massive budget under 7 Screen Studio. Fans of Vijay are super happy as he has collaborated with Lokesh once again after "Master," a blockbuster hit at the box office. With the film now on the floor, the makers have announced the principal cast and crew of the film.

Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and Sandy Master are all starring in the upcoming film. Now, Trisha Krishnan comes on board as the leading lady opposite Vijay in the movie. This is the fifth movie in which Trisha has been cast with Vijay. The magical pair are set to work together after 14 long years.

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is also on board. The star is quite excited to be part of the project. "When I heard the one-liner of Thalapathy67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film, and I'm thrilled to start this journey," he said.

Priya Anand said, "Thrilled to be a part of Thalapathy 67! I'm looking forward to working with such an incredible cast and crew!" Besides delivering the chartbuster albums in Kaththi, Master, and Beast, 'Thalapathy 67' will be Anirudh Ravichander's fourth collaboration with Vijay.

Manoj Paramahamsa handles the cinematography, while Philomin Raj takes care of the editing for the film. N Sathees Kumaris is the art director, and Ramkumar Balasubramanian is the executive producer.
