Hyderabad: The Telangana government has permitted all cinema theatres in the state to increase the ticket prices of the much-awaited Telugu movie 'Roudram Ranam Rudiram' (RRR) which is scheduled to release on 25 March.

Air-conditioned theatres have been permitted to increase the ticket rate by Rs. 50 for the first three days –from 25 to 27 March.

Recliner seats in single theatres, IMAX/large screens (75 ft and above), and multiplexes can charge Rs. 100 extra for the first three days (25-27 March) and Rs. 50 extra for the next three days – from 28 March to 3 April.

For other theatres such as non-AC theatres, there is no change in the admission rates.

Additionally, the government has also permitted screening of five shows of 'RRR' between 7 a.m and 1 a.m for 10 days, i.e., from 25 March to 3 April.

As per the official order, the permissions have been granted temporarily subject to payment of tax to the government on usual terms and conditions and for 'RRR' only.
