'Veera Simha Reddy': Balakrishna starrer braces up for Sankranti release; trailer goes viral

Nandamuri Balakrishna's highly-anticipated movie `Veera Simha Reddy' is gearing up for Sankranthi release.

Produced on a lavish budget by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is directed by Gopichand Malineni. It is for the first time Nandamuri Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni have joined forces.

The film's mass euphoric theatrical trailer has been unveiled, during the pre-release function in Ongole.

Speaking at the event, Balkrishna said he's sure the film is going to rock the box office. "This Sankranti is going to be special. I'm sure it's mine. Veera Simha Reddy will be a blockbuster. All of us worked hard. Sruthi Haasan is as good as her father Kamal Haasan. She did a splendid job. Wishing you all a Happy Sankranti," he said,

The commercially packed trailer shows the different aspects of the movie. Though it is high on action and masala, the video also shows the emotional side.

It starts with Balakrishna delivering a powerful dialogue which alone is enough to describe his mighty and intense character. Not just that, the other shade of Balakrishna in a stylish get-up is a pleasant surprise.

Balakrishna shows royalty in the character of Veera Simha Reddy and it's his show all the way. His mass aura and royalty are incomparable. Shruti Haasan oozed oomph in songs, and so is Chandrika Ravi. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is another surprise package, while Duniya Vijay's character is also designed powerfully.

Gopichand Malineni made sure the movie will appeal equally to the masses and family audiences. Rishi Punjabi's camera work deserves special mention, wherein S Thaman's re-recording work gives goosebumps to the masses. The grand making of Mythri Movie Makers can be observed all through. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film.
