Veteran actor Manobala passes away at 69
Manobala was taking treatment at his residence for liver-related problems for the past two week

As per a report, the actor was taking treatment at his residence for liver-related problems for the past two weeks.
The actor has been part of more than 450 films in the 35 years of his career. He was an amazing performer, and his comedy timing and self-deprecating humour are something people have been loving for ages now.
Manobala started his career as an assistant to legendary filmmaker Bharathirajaa. He later turned director with the 1982 film Agaya Gangai.
He has directed hit films like Pillai Nila, Oorkavalan (starring Superstar Rajinikanth), and Mallu Vetti Minor, among others. He has been part of memorable comic tracks in films like Pithamagan, Ice, Chandramukhi, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Thamizh Padam, Alex Pandian, the Aranmanai franchise and Aambala. He has appeared in nearly 700 films. He has had hilarious collaborations with leading comic actors like Vivekh, Vadivelu and Santhanam.
Tamil actors who worked with Manobala have poured their condolences to the actor.
