Veteran Telugu producer Narayan Das Narang passes away at 76
Popular veteran film producer Narayan Das Narang, who bankrolled several Telugu films, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 76.

He had been suffering from various age-related issues and succumbed to his illnesses at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
He breathed his last at 9.04 a.m on Tuesday (19 April). He is survived by two sons and a daughter. His sons Sunil Narang and Bharath Narang are also film producers.
Narayana Das Narang was born on 27 July 1946. He is one of the film industry legends who has worked in the industry for over 50 years. He was a big player in financing films and also a top distributor in the Nizam region. He has financed prominent Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films.
Narayan Das Narang's SVCC Production house is one of the most happening production houses right now. In association with leading stars of Telugu cinema, Narang set up the popular multiplexes AMB Cinemas, AVD Cinemas, and AAA cinemas.
A silent force in the Telugu film industry, he was a visionary and a stalwart. He served as the acting president of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Telangana and was a leader in media and real estate as well. The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and the Telangana Chamber of Commerce have expressed their deepest condolences on his demise.
His family has informed that the late producer's funeral will take place at 4 p.m on Tuesday evening in Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills.
A few films that he recently produced were Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's 'Love Story' and Naga Shaurya's 'Lakshya'. He had several other films in the pipeline, including Nagarjuna and Kajal Aggarwal's 'The Ghost' apart from untitled ventures with Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan.
