Hyderabad: Many Telugu directors are working on bilingual scripts and are all set to make their directorial debut in the Tamil film industry. In the same way, directors from the Tamil film industry are also planning to make their directorial debut in Tollywood.
Directors Vamsi Paidpally, Sekhar Kammula, and Ajay Bhupathi are directing bilingual films with Thalapathy Vijay, Dhanush, and Siddharth and Sharwanand, respectively. Meanwhile, Tamil director Shankar is all set to make his debut in Telugu with Ram Charan's next film. At the same time, Linguswamy is directing a film with Ram Pothineni that is tentatively title #RAPO19.
Now, it is being said that Vetrimaran is also going to make his directorial debut and that too with Jr. NTR. Reports claim that the director has approached Tarak with a unique script, said to be an action entertainer. Though Tarak is said to have liked the script, his response is not yet known. Well, if things go well, let us wait for both of them to come together.
Director Vetrimaran needs no introduction. He has directed amazing films like 'Aadukalam', 'Kaaka Muttai', 'Visaranai', and 'Asuran'. Most of his films are national award-winning films and many actors in the Tamil film industry wait for an opportunity to work with him. His recent flick 'Asuran' was remade in Telugu as 'Narappa' and it was a huge hit here too!
Vetrimaran is currently directing 'Viduthalai' and 'Vaadivaasal' which will release sometime later next year.
