Visakhapatnam: Imagine a roadside woman guava seller leaving an indelible mark on actress Priyanka Chopra!
This is not filmi bateen but a reality. Priyanka Chopra who came to India to shoot her upcoming film, shared an inspiring story from her time in Visakhapatnam, and Odisha.
When Priyanka Chopra was driving to Visakhapatnam airport, on her way to New York, she stopped by the roadside to buy guava, which she loves a lot.
"So! I don't do this often, but I was very inspired today. I was driving to Visakhapatnam airport on my way to Mumbai, on my way to New York. And I saw this woman selling guavas, and I love kaccha (unripe) guavas! So I stopped her and I asked, āHow much for all your guavas?ā She said Rs 150. So I gave her a Rs 200 note, and she was trying to give me a change. I said, āNo, please keep it. But by the time, the traffic light changed from green to red, she came running and gave me two more guavas. A working woman, she did not want charity! It moved me," said Priyanka in the video.
She also shared pictures of the Guavas she bought, and the film team shooting scenes at Talamali, a hill station in Odisha.
Priyanka though has not confirmed that she is part of the Rajamouli film yet, but fans believe she might be making an announcement soon. She had teased the beginning of a ānew chapterā as she shared new pictures from her visit to Chilkur Balaji Temple in Telangana, in January. Also starring Mahesh Babu, the film is touted to be an action-adventure like Indiana Jones.
