Viveka murder to Jagan’s political career: RGV’s 'Vyooham' to be released before AP election

Vijayawada: Vyooham -- a movie based on Andhra Pradesh politics will be released in two parts before the state election.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and his movie unit shot a few scenes related to the Prakasam barrage in Vijayawada.

Later Ram Gopal Varma interacted with the media.

"Vyooham is a film based on the real incidents that happened in Andhra Pradesh after the death of former chief minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. The movie will have the political life of Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu," said Ram Gopal Varma.

He stated that the movie is based on real-life political events in Andhra Pradesh. He said there is no particular political party that is supporting him. It is the audience who has to decide what the facts are.

When asked if he would direct a movie if Naidu or Pawan Kalyan asked him, RGV said that he wouldn’t direct any movie for them.

"I want to show Jagan's reality in a movie from my viewpoint," said Ram Gopal Varma.

On murder accused in Viveka's murder will be revealed in the film, he said that would be suspense in the second part of the film.

“The movie will also have scenes on Y S Vivekananda murder case,” he said.

The movie is produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar. While part 1 of the film is to be released in November tentatively, part -II will likely hit the screens in February.

Starring Ajmal Amir and Manasa Radhakrishnan in the lead, the movie teaser 2 will be released on August 15.
