Hyderabad: Touted be a new-age couple drama, 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' is the new film starring young hero Santosh Shoban and Kollywood actress Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film will hit the screens this Sankranthi on 14 January. Its trailer was released on Thursday by Anushka Shetty

UV Concepts is producing the film that is being directed by Anil Kumar Aalla.

In the trailer, Shiva and Shruti cement their love by getting married. Their marital life takes off on a pleasant note with sweet moments. But Shiva's unemployment becomes a thorny issue in their marriage. Shiva starts searching for a suitable job to make his wife happy. The film is about the consequences of this decision and whether the husband manages to get into his wife's good books.

This Sankranthi, 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' will be a pleasantly fresh small movie amid three big movies—'Veera Simha Reddy,' 'Waltair Veerayya,' and 'Vaarasudu.' Santosh has done a few good movies earlier and managed to make a mark for himself. In this film, too, he will be seen playing a breezy role. Priya Bhavani Shankar needs no introduction as she has established herself as a bankable actress in the Tamil film industry.
