Watch: Brahmastra trailer a visual treat; Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor starrer to release on Sep 9

Hyderabad: The much-awaited trailer of Brahmastra starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy in lead roles has been unveiled. It is nothing less than a visual extravaganza. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra is all set for release on September 9th and this is going to be the first part.

The trailer in Hindi has a voiceover by Amitabh Bachchan and the Telugu version has a voiceover by Megastar Chiranjeevi. Brahmastra is a movie that has its concepts deeply rooted in the world of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love, and hope, with a connection to the modern world and mythology. It is all connected to nothing but Lord Shiva, with Ranbir Kapoor being named Shiva.

The trailer starts with Amitabh Bachchan explaining the importance of water, wind, and fire, and their importance as well. "Water, wind, fire. Since ancient times there exist among us energies which have been harnessed into Astras," Bachchan explains in a voice-over as the trailer introduces many keepers of the sacred powers. "This is a story about the lord of all the Astras- the Brahmastra, and about one young man who must discover that the destiny of the Brahmastra depends on him - Shiva," adds the voiceover. Mouni Roy will be seen playing a negative role in this film and she will be the one to gather all the dark forces against Brahmastra.

The trailer has some amazing visuals which are shot in the best possible way and VFX adds to it. Alia Bhatt plays Isha, the ladylove of Isha. This most-talked-about couple of Bollywood looks beautiful in their first film together. After four long years, Ranbir Kapoor is back on the big screen and this is something his fans are set to cherish.
