When you think of the greatest love stories of all time, there are perhaps a few masterpieces that pop into your head immediately. The makers of 'Sita Ramam' have created an ageless love story set in the 60s and 80s.

The Telugu theatrical trailer of 'Sita Ramam' shows the crucial events in the epic love story. An orphan soldier Lieutenant Ram's life changes after he gets a letter from a girl named Sita. He meets her and they fall in love. When he comes back to his camp in Kashmir, he sends a letter to Sita but it does not reach her.

After 20 years, Rashmika Mandanna and Tharun Bhascker are given the task of giving the letter to Sita. They begin searching for Sita and when they are unable to find her, they try to find Ram. This proves to be more difficult than finding Sita. The biggest hurdle is Ram's superior, Brigadier Vishnu Sharma (Sumanth).

Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur charm us with their screen presence and their onscreen chemistry is magical. Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth bring their best to the film.

Hanu Raghavapudi has once again proved his mettle in crafting beautiful love stories. P.S Vinod's cinematography deserves special mention and Vishal Chandrashekhar's re-recording work is phenomenal. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao wins brownie points for narrating the story of two different timelines in a beautiful way. Visuals look like paintings by a great artist thanks to the grand production design of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema.

'Sita Ramam' will release in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on 5 August.
