Watch: Nani looks raw and rugged in Dasara teaser

Hyderabad: The teaser of Nani’s much-awaited film ‘Dasara’ released on Monday and Nani looks terrific. Shot in Telugu but set to release in multiple languages, ‘Dasara’ will be Nani’s first pan-India release.

The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, will depict the victory of good over evil. Nani is known for his makeovers. For each film, he makes sure there is a transformation in his physique. His hairstyle and beard look different in each film and that’s how the actor tries to make an impact on the story.

From the actors’ makeovers to showing the audience the world of the people who work in coal mines and their customs, the teaser of ‘Dasara’ offers a whole new experience. The very first frame shows Dharani (Nani) standing in front of a massive effigy of Ravana.

The village, Veerlapally, situated in the Godavarikhani neighbourhood of Telangana is not beautiful and the lives of the people are not colourful. The teaser takes us to the coal mines of Singareni, giving us a glimpse into the world of Dasara.

‘Dasara’ will release on 30 March in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Shooting for Dasara wrapped up recently and the post-production process is underway. Keerthy Suresh is playing the leading lady in the film that is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner.

Meanwhile, Nani’s next film was launched recently and it will be an emotional father-daughter drama.
