Watch: Ravi Teja's Dhamaka trailer seems to deliver much-needed hit for actor

Hyderabad: Ravi Teja, who is known for becoming a star without a godfather in the industry, has seen back-to-back flops. His recent film 'Rama Rao on Duty' was a disaster at the box office and that's a third consecutive flop for the actor.

This year, Ravi Teja is returning to his forte, i.e., entertainment, with his upcoming film 'Dhamaka' directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina who is a specialist in making out-and-out entertainers. The film is produced by T.G Vishwa Prasad who is known for making high-budget entertainers with rich production standards.

On Friday, the makers launched the theatrical trailer of the movie which shows Ravi Teja in a double role and will offer double the entertainment.

Swamy (Ravi Teja) is a poor and unemployed guy living in a slum. Finding even one job in a month is a big task for him. Meanwhile, Anand Chakravarthy (Ravi Teja again) is a multi-millionaire who can give employment to even 1,000 people in a month. On the other hand, Pavani (Sreeleela) is in love with both of them. Swamy and Anand have different paths but destiny brings them together to fight a common enemy.

The plotline looks imposing and the screenplay is racy and entertaining. Ravi Teja looks classy as Anand and massy as Swamy. He had aced both the characters, though the mass character wins extra marks. Sreeleela is a charmer and Ravi Teja's on-screen chemistry with her is loveable. Trinadha Rao Nakkina has made 'Dhamaka' a complete entertainer. Fans will be thrilled to see Ravi Teja in two contrasting roles.

Vivek Kuchibhotla is co-producing the film, while Prasanna Kumar Bezawada has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film.

The trailer has created huge expectations. The movie is gearing up for a grand release worldwide on 23 December.
