Watch: The Ghost is here! Nagarjuna looks stylish in film's first promo

Hyderabad: Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni was last seen in 'Bangarraju' which released in January this year. To our surprise, this film was the only blockbuster hit at the box office during the Sankranti race.

Nagarjuna will next be seen in 'The Ghost' directed by Praveen Sattaru where Nagarjuna will play an Interpol officer. The film's promo was unveiled on 19 August. It starts with someone warning Nagarjuna that the entire underworld is coming for him. We can see a file named 'Red Notice' in the drawer which has all the secrets about the underworld.

Nagarjuna then opens a huge box marked "Tamahagane" and inside is raw steel. He uses it to forge a sword. "The sword feels proud in the hands of The King," reads the quote in the promo. Nag swings his sword to cut a steel bar into two pieces, showing the sharpness of the weapon.

Nagarjuna has maintained the same intensity throughout the promo and he looks stylish and dashing as ever. Bharath and Saurab's background score for the promo is terrific. We are going to see more action in the trailer that will be released next week.

'The Ghost' is an engaging action thriller laced with emotions. Sonal Chauhan is the leading lady in the movie which also features Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in vital roles. Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar are producing the film under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Banners.

Mark K. Robin is the music director while the songs are by the duo Bharath and Saurab. Mukesh G. is the cinematographer, Brahma Kadali is the art director, and Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha supervised the stunt sequences.

'The Ghost' will hit the theatres on 5 October on Dasara.
